About Jon:

Originally from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan, I had an early fascination with technology, which led me to study electronics at Ferris State University in northern Michigan. I served as an active-duty, noncommissioned public affairs officer in the Air Force and saw many places in the world, and continue to this day as a civil service employee in Anchorage, Alaska.

As an avid Apple enthusiast, I focused my energy into the Alaskan Apple Users Club serving as the club’s president. Soon after, I began the weekly Mac Minutes Podcast with more than 30,000 downloads from more than 60 countries, over the past three years.

I continue to host and produce a syndicated weekly national rock music show played on Pacific Radio Network broadcast across the USA. And I also lend a hand in the engineering at the radio station in the resort community of Girdwood.

I also publish the Turnagain Newspaper which serves multiple communities in SouthCentral Alaska. We are also affiliated with the national Independent News Network consisting of more than 400 newspaper across the country.

I continue these pursuits with the loyal support of my loving wife, family and friends. I hope you enjoy these shows as much as I do creating them.
